However, according to the general opinion, maquis are not considered from the forest. However, considering the diversity of living things it contains, it is not difficult to understand that it is a living flora. The maquis, which have permeated every particle of the cultural accumulation created by the civilizations prevailing in the geography where the Mediterranean climate is observed, is of great importance for life. Therefore, in this work of art, the rediscovery of this living flora, whose existence is important for human life and other living things, reducing its destruction and a new perspective towards this vegetation. thought to be developed. Flowers, which contain all colors in almost every season, have an effect on people. New discussions should be created on the existence of change, transformation and nature by putting the myths about the human in this rich vitality, which are intertwined or in contact with each other, against all kinds of destruction. The myths that emerged in the Maki region and the cultural accumulations formed in the areas where human life took place were studied. Video and photographic studies related to human activities in today's maquis field have been made. The images obtained were re-arranged in the digital environment in the sense of art. During the trip-observation, artworks were made with drawings and color painting techniques. As a result, in this paper, the flora of maquis and the intersection of this flora with human life will be examined. An effort will be made to show the human creations in the Maki habitat and to show these creations. The place of bird species, flowers, insects, reptiles, foxes, etc. in human life will be questioned again by emphasizing artistic works of this vegetation, which is seen as an insignificant shrub. The paper will be completed with the literature review and the presentation of art productions based on geographical observations and myths.
